Meth & Men
South Florida
This website is designed to provide information and support for
members of the gay community, their friends, and their families
that are affected by methamphetamine. The site contains
information about the physical, mental, and sexual effects of the
drug as well as tips for quitting; a list of local
groups, meetings and services along with a list of other websites
for more information ; stories of meth users; information about how to contact the staff at Sunserve , and a link to make tax-deductible donations to
support our work.
Our goal is to provide in one place essential information about
meth and the south Florida gay community. This is a grassroots
effort that relies on your input. Check this site often for new
information and let us know what you or someone you care about
needs to get past meth.
| Have you heard that "Party Packs"
will prevent you from getting HIV? ...you heard WRONG! |
| Dealers are pushing "Party Packs," (also called "Prepping" or "MTV") which is a combination of Crystal Meth, Viagra, and one HIV anti-viral pill, usually Tenofovir. |
|
There is NO evidence that a party pack will protect you against HIV.
|
|
"Party Packs" are NOT a substitute for condoms.
Meth & Viagra will get you high, lower your inhibitions, and can lead to greater risk-taking.
Practice safe sex - WRAP IT UP!!! |
We're all hoping for a way to have sex without condoms and stay healthy, but right now the best protection is condoms and knowing your HIV status.
Many of us are tired of using condoms ("condom burnout"), but barebacking and drug use puts you and your partner at serious risk. Click here for HIV testing sites.

The mission of the Meth & Men South Florida (“M&M”) is to address
the methamphetamine epidemic that has impacted the gay community
through outreach and education, and to promote the availability of
a full continuum of care for men impacted by this drug and related
problems in South Florida.
